Mel, I am SO thrilled you are writing again! You are an awesome writer and I discovered your blog, fell in love with it, and then you fell off the face of the earth. Date Night! the whole concept behind anticipation is what “ole married folks” most times forget!
Going out to dinner is not a date or treat. It should be-always!..
Lets re-invent date night with the “call” ….”will you go out with me?”… that’s what sparks the …….and all the rest is dessert!

I love date night. Sometimes we pick what we are going to do together and sometimes it’s surprise date night. That’s when one of us gets to plan it and the other one has to wait in anticipation. I love the anticipation and wondering what we are going to do.

Well, I think I’ve just been more sensitive to listening to the Holy Spirit this week. Most times my immediate response is to recoil to a place alone and continue my steeming and hurt or to instantly call a friend and talk about whoever I’m mad at. But… since you didn’t answer your phone the other night, I was left to praying about it. Ha!
